属于“双胞胎”设备，即两台设备共用一个机架。两套独立的机械装置，分别由两套独立的电控系统控制。 该设备主要用来生产结构为1×7的半成品钢帘线（用220工字轮收线），也可用来生产结构为1×5的成品钢帘线（用B40、B60或B80工字轮收线）。
摇篮内部可放置6个188工字轮。工字轮呈水平放置在摇篮竖板的两边，每边放3个，机架外部（外放线装置）可放置1个188工字轮。
